Awe-Inspiring Attractions

Our visit to the Burj Khalifa began with a trip to the observation decks on the 148th and 125th floors. The “At The Top” experience offered us panoramic views of Dubai’s skyline, the vast desert, and the azure waters of the Arabian Gulf. It was a mesmerizing sight, especially during the sunset when the city lights began to sparkle below us.

We also explored the Burj Khalifa's lobby and the surrounding areas of the Dubai Mall, which is a destination in itself. From the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo to the enchanting Dubai Fountain shows, there was no shortage of things to see and do. Each experience complemented our visit to the Burj Khalifa, making it a day to remember.

Opening Hours and Ticket Prices

We visited the Burj Khalifa in the late afternoon, which gave us ample time to enjoy both daytime and nighttime views. The observation decks are open daily from 8:30 AM to 11:00 PM. We recommend booking tickets in advance, as they tend to sell out quickly, especially during peak tourist seasons.

Ticket prices vary depending on the time of day and the level of access. For “At The Top” tickets to the 125th and 148th floors, prices start at approximately AED 159 (about USD 43) for standard daytime access and can go up to AED 378 (about USD 103) for premium sunset visits. There are also options for fast-track entry, which can be a great way to avoid long queues.

Travel Route and Transportation Costs

Navigating Dubai is relatively easy, and we found that the most convenient way to get around was by using the Metro. The Burj Khalifa is directly accessible via the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Metro Station, which is part of the Red Line. The station is just a short walk from the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa entrance.

For a single trip on the Metro, we paid around AED 5 (about USD 1.36). Taxis and rideshare options are also readily available, with fares starting at around AED 12 (about USD 3.27) for the base fare plus additional costs per kilometer. For those who prefer a more luxurious experience, private car services are available, but they can be more costly.
