Do Northeast tigers attack humans? Generally, no. Wild Northeast tigers seldom come into contact with humans and are relatively unfamiliar with them. When they encounter humans, they do not associate them with their prey. Wild Northeast tigers are actually more afraid of humans. Their first choice is to turn away rather than attack when encountering humans.
