Hyacinths originated in the Northeast Mediterranean and have a long cultivation history, which can be traced back to the 15th century. Hyacinths take root in autumn and new buds are unearthed in early spring. They bloom in March and ripen in late May. In early June, the aboveground parts wither and enter dormancy. Flower bud differentiations are carried out in the dormant stage. The suitable temperature for differentiation is about 25 ℃, and the differentiation process lasts about one month. There should be a low temperature stage of about two months from flower bud differentiation to elongation and growth, and the temperature should not exceed 13 ℃.


Hyacinths are low and neat plants, they have dignified inflorescences, rich flower colors and beautiful flower posture.
